She is licensed by the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor and has over fifteen years of knowledge treating individuals with mental health issues. Tenille began her pursuit in mental health as a rehabilitation case manager advocating for individuals battling mental health, substance abuse and socioeconomic barriers. She has assisted and worked with youth and adults in the community, mental health clinics, homeless shelters, partial hospitalization and outpatient programs. Throughout her journey, Tenille’s involvement has included rehabilitative treatment, wraparound group facilitation, group therapy, individual therapy, family therapy, couple’s counseling, client advocacy and career counseling.
As a resident of New Orleans, she endured the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina and understands how it is to feel hopeless and experience loss. Tenille has always been intrigued by how the mind works and desires to understand others by learning their experiences. Her mission is to provide individuals the opportunity to obtain a brighter outlook for their future. Tenille believes goals are achievable if the mind and body are willing to do the work.
